Jim Hourihan has provided sales and solutions strategies to Fortune 100 companies in telecommunications, entertainment and financial services for more than 30 years. With exceptional expertise in big data, predictive analytics, business development and sales growth, he’s well-known for his strong industry relationships and the ability to formulate solutions and deliver on promises.
Clients rely on Jim to leverage his cross-industry knowledge in ways that can dramatically enhance their businesses. To cite just one example: When a telecom company needed to integrate predictive analytics into its wireless services, Jim helped establish a new strategic unit that could maximize the value of prepaid wireless and marketing attribution data. The result was a significant boost to the company’s bottom-line results.
Jim came to INSYS in 2011 to help direct the start-up of a new solutions division. Before that, he helped build the Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment practice of BusinessEdge Solutions. He’s also been a solutions partner at EMC Consulting, director of marketing at DMR Consulting, and business development director at TRECOM Business Systems.
In addition to his work at INSYS Group, Jim is active in a number of community projects. He and his wife Christine were among the founders of the Bergen Buddy Walk, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting acceptance and awareness of those with Down Syndrome.
Jim has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from Manhattan College.
